Shieldsflex II Marine Water/Exhaust Hose(w/Wire)

Premium wire reinforced marine hose. Improved compounding allows ShieldsFlex II to be used in marine water and wet exhaust applications. Designed for engine intake, bilge discharge, toilet and holding tank connections, scupper line. Also for marine wet exhaust where connection requires a long length (greater than four times the inside diameter) or the connection requires a significant bend. Meets or exceeds standards for type certified wet exhaust hose. Heavy wall construction reinforced with wire helix imbedded between tough synthetic spiral cord piles. Construction allows excellent flexibility and bend radius, prevents panting and collapsing and provides excellent service life. Compounded to resist engine heat, exhaust fumes, ozone, mild acids, toilet effluent, salt water and abrasion. Color coded with combination blue and green stripe, marked continuously with size and part number. * 250 SERIES.
